Pret Reporteur. Bijoux de Paris

Gabbie Perez for Second City Style Fashion Magazine
Paris is a city filled with hidden jewels: the Parc Butte Chaumont, the Richelieu entrance at the Louvre, the Marais on Sundays, and its often forgotten jewelry shops. Although Parisians don’t overly accessorize with bling, don’t overlook the city’s frequently underrated jewelry collections. Paris has a lot more to offer besides Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels in the bijoux business.

I have been up and down rue Vieille du Temple hundreds of times and
somehow did not find this shop until last weekend — but what a find it
was! Tucked away at number 85, this shoebox boutique is filled with the most amazing plastic accessories in all of Paris.
From acrylic neon Eiffel Tower pins (Oops, I’m guilty of purchasing one
of these!) to crystal encrusted cut out plastic bangles, you are sure
to find something for everyone here. With reasonable prices (even with
the exchange rate!) and a great location, don’t miss Jean Marie Poinot.
