Shopping With Andra. Diamonds and Pearls and Jewels – Oh My!

I used to not be a big fan of jewelry – not that I didn’t like it – I just chose to spend my fashion expenditure on main apparel items. But lately I can’t get enough of it – everything catches my eye: oversized pearls, multi-strand gold necklaces, delicate feather earrings and chunky, bejewelled cuffs. As layering becomes even more important this fall season, jewelry will definitely play a big role in that. Here’s some of the best I’ve seen lately, in a range of prices.

Have you seen the Dean Harris collection for Target? Constructed of natural, luxurious materials, the collection features twisted vine rings, double leaf necklaces and silver wire flower earrings. The cut-out leaf earrings are especially lovely in their organic inspiration and wood and gold material ($39.99 at target.com).

It’s feather frenzy this fall and as usual, I can’t get enough. Choose a flirty bohemian pair of earrings like the Marciano Alex ($88 at Marciano.com) or go more refined with the Elsa Peretti version in 18K gold for Tiffany & Co. ($795 at tiffany.com).
