Retail Detail. S.O.S! (Save Our Saks...Fifth Avenue)

Red is not always a good color. Especially when it comes to a company's ledger. There, black is always the preferred color. The anemic economic conditions are really hurting luxury retailer Saks Inc. which reported a giant loss today (Tuesday). According to WWD, the retailer saw net losses of $31.7 million the quarter ended August. Revenue dipped 3.6 percent to $669.2 million from $694.1 million for the comparable period last year.
