Retail Detail. The (Real) Fur No Longer Flies at Overstock.com

According to WWD, Overstock.com has gone fur-free. The site stopped selling merchandise containing fur on its e-commerce Web site last Thursday. According to an announcement by Overstock.com the decision was made in reaction to continued problems with mislabeled fur garments. The statement said the attraction of socially conscious consumers to the site should make up for some of the lost sales. Overstock.com will continue to sell faux fur.

Score one for PETA!
