According to WWD, Stephen Jones is to play a role in the forthcoming Coco Before Chanel film, starring Audrey Tautou — making its hats, of course.

The high-end British milliner should be an excellent choice, both to play the role and make the hats, since he has been called the best hat-maker since Schiaparelli in the 1930s. He has worked with Vivienne Westwood, Claude Montana, Thierry Mugler, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Rei Kawakubo, and designed headgear for Marilyn Manson, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce Knowles, and Alison Goldfrapp.
