Celebrity "Designers". Dear God, Let It End.

ANOTHER! Add it to the list. Now, not only do Perez Hilton, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Avril Lavigne, LL Cool J, Kimora Lee Simmons, Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Kristin Davis, SJP, Lindsay Lohan, and about a billion other celebs get to shove their wares down your craw... now you get to try to stomach this. Aubrey O'Day has come out with a line of t-shirts.

Who the heck is Aubrey O'Day, you ask? Well, she is a semi-celebrity, most famous for her time on the P. Diddy-produced MTV reality show, Making The Band. She was chosen to be in the resulting singing group, Danity Kane, which has released a few top 40 songs that you probably mistake for the Pussy Cat Dolls or Britney Spears or Ashlee Simpson when you hear them. So why does she get an endorsement deal a personal line?

Apparently, because she wears her heart on her sleeve, i.e. was the most excitable and overly dramatic character on her short-lived reality show. According to her website, "People always told Aubrey that she wore her heart on her sleeve. After hearing this so many times, she was eventually drawn to create a clothing line based around the concept." Riiiiight. Inspiration is a funny thing.

So what did she create? Statement tees. As if we needed half-wit celebrities causing any more controversy by wearing shirts that say things like "Hate is the new love." Although, we can maybe see Lindsay Lohan sporting the "DJs make me horny" midriff, if her current affair holds. This sort of message tee should have ended years ago, after its early incarnations, "I'm with Stupid" and "Frankie Says Relax."
