Although we already knew (and celebrated the fact that) Vanessa Paradis had replaced Kirsten Dunst as the new face of Miu Miu, the brand has just revealed the Fall 2008 print campaign images. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles, the 35-year-old singer and paramour of Johnny Depp was reportedly chosen by Miuccia Prada because she casts a "certain powerful independence." In the shots, Paradis is clad in a monogrammed superhero top, carrying an embossed leather bag. Check a sneak peak out below:

According to Fashion Week Daily, "For fall, Miu Miu branched off into sportier territory, and Paradis captures "the overlapping qualities of fragility and feminine strength" that lies in stark comparison to the darker mood portrayed by Kirsten Dunst in the current spring campaign."
