Tiffany & Co. just announced a two year partnership with none other than women's tennis champ, Maria Sharapova. The Fifth Avenue jeweler will outfit the top-ranked player in eight different pairs of earrings over the next eight Grand Slam tennis events, including the U.S. Open in New York this summer. At the first of the eight slams, the French Open at Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, Sharapova will wear a pair of $1,150 yellow gold Elsa Peretti Wave earrings. The Russian athlete said about the sponsorship, "Elsa Peretti's earrings feel as beautiful as they look and I am thrilled to wear them at the French Open."

Tiffany has also accessorized Sharapova's custom French Open tennis dress, seen above. The navy "Paris dress" by Nike is a 1920s-inspired look, designed in part by Sharapova herself, that is finished with a luminous Tiffany pearl button closure at the back. We support looking great on- and off-court, which is especially easy for the beautiful Miss Sharapova. And competing in style-conscious cities like New York, Paris, and London, it even makes sense to be chic. We just hope her competitive spirit doesn't harm her expensive jewels!
