Simona Kogan for Second City Style Magazine
It’s not time to put away those tweed skirts, and wool coats just yet, but spring is well on its way — and celebs have turned up the heat — veritably outdoing each other in the latest looks and hottest fashions. But while we’re definitely not going for some spring trends that include Ashlee Simpson’s tight spandex or Ashley Olsen’s grandmother glasses, here are a few celebs that our grabbing our attention with pretty, low-key, but trendy spring pieces that really keep us wanting more — and waiting eagerly for spring to come soon.
Lauren Conrad
Why She’s Looking Good This Spring: To date, Lauren has her own
reality show, her own line, and we recently got a glimpse of her very
first fashion show on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Los
Angeles. What more could a girl ask for? But why isn’t she lapping up
all the attention? What we love about LC from The Hills is that she’s
not going out of her way to wear something flashy or sexy (and in her
twenties, she could definitely pull it off. Instead, she chooses to wow
us with demure and easy sundresses, solid-colored two-tiered dresses
(like the one from her line she wore to her runway), boots and cardigan
knits. She continues to play up a low-key, classic style without going for the overkill and remaining a veritable fashion apple of our eyes!
Get her look: Pick a pretty dress — Lauren Conrad
approved — from the spring collection of her line. We’re going for the
sexy, yet understated Natonia with an empire waist and deep V neckline.
