Beauty Beat. Natayle’s Addiction: SensiClear
I’m a cheater. Yes that’s right, I cheated-- and it feels so good! For years I’ve been committed to using Proactiv. Several companies have dangled their products in front of me and friends have recommended “fabulous” products, but I stayed true to my dear Proactiv until, (that is) I tried SensiClear.
You may or may not have heard about SensiClear as it’s a relatively new acne treatment/prevention line that is dedicated to combating acne. I actually caught wind of the line in a rather unusual way-- Janice Dickenson’s Modeling Agency. I typically don’t spend my evenings watching her show, but I spent a boring Tuesday night channel surfing and came across the episode where the makers of SensiClear were seeking models from Janice’s agency with problem skin. I had to stop—with such an odd request, who wouldn’t? The executive from SensiClear felt confident that whoever he chose to take part in this opportunity would have a “life-changing experience.” I initially called bull (you know what). Every product line claims to be the best, but most fall extremely short. What made this one any different?
After choosing the acne-burdened models, he gave them 28 days to use the product with a promise that they would be happy with the results---I was now hooked! I waited until the end of the show in hopes that they would reveal these amazing transformations, however, (true to form) I had to tune in the following week.
The week couldn’t go by fast enough. I was intrigued. Was this really for real? A week later I sat on my couch in front of the TV with eager anticipation. . . . Finally the models were revealed—all with luminous, pimple-free skin. “This must be trick,” I thought. There was no way that this line transformed these models (and aspiring models/actors) from horridly, somewhat grotesque blemished faces to the radiant individuals I saw before me. I figured that this must have been a camera trick or maybe they were using the product for longer than 28 days. Or perhaps the producers of the show put the models through rigorous facials and sent them on several trips to the best dermatologists in the nation. This was just too good to be true! I have to reiterate that these models had horrible acne, not mild. I would have assumed that the only way to cure blemishes that bad would be to go through an extensive program prescribed by a dermatologist (i.e. Acutane and/or antibiotics while also using copious amounts of creams and lotions). Being the beauty buff that I am, I had to find the truth. I was now enamored by this SensiClear and for the first time began thinking about another. . .
Like many individuals, I too have had to deal with breakouts (sigh). It has never been severe (thank God) but has sometimes put a damper on my social life. I’d begun using Proactiv about nine years ago when I could find no other products to aid in clearing my skin. I was hooked after the first week and never considered trying anything else. Recently, however, I noticed a few breakouts . . . this was unacceptable as I’m in my late twenties and thought that I had put that behind me. . . . plus, I had a hot date. Of course several things have changed in almost 10 years-- jobs, relationships, and just life in general. So, I guess it was only natural that my skin would change as well. I began to think that quite possibly my Proactiv was failing me a bit. I mean, we’d been a great team, but I felt that possibly my dear Proactiv was trying to tell me something. Maybe we just weren’t meant for each other. Don’t get me wrong it was still doing it’s job, but not to the best of it’s ability. With things changing and the staff and I testing various products for months for our Beauty Olympics, (see the winners on March 24th) I thought that this would be an excellent time to test SensiClear.
When the box arrived, I had mixed feelings—I was excited but also felt a little guilty. Was I really about to try something new? I sat the box on my table and didn’t open it for a few days. It sat there begging me to just give it a chance. . . I opened the box and immediately went to the sink. I splashed my face with warm water and squeezed out a pea-size amount onto my hand and began cleansing . . . the clean scent was intoxicating! The more I rubbed the gel cleanser into my skin the more I felt this wonderful tingling sensation that titillated my senses. Following the cleanser, I applied the aromatic toner and followed it with the acne treatment lotion. My face felt clean and supple. There was no drying or peeling which certainly surprised me being that I have rather sensitive skin. Now what I’m about to say next may sound a little unbelievable, but within the first couple of hours I saw a difference in my skin. The pimples that had already formed and those that were attempting to show their ugly faces began disappearing! I’m not crazy, I promise! By day two, I began receiving compliments on my skin and after a week, my makeup artist was begging me to find out what I’ve been doing to make my skin “glow.” What could I say? I owe my radiant skin to SensiClear! It feels so good to be in love again!
Proactiv we’ve had a wonderful relationship. But we both have to realize that we have reached the end. We can still be friends, but I’ve now found a new love and have moved on to be with SensiClear.

I think a natural approach to acne treatment is the preferred way to go. Introducing chemicals into or onto one's body only tends to address symptoms, not the root cause.

I've never tried Sensi Clear. I have tried ProActiv and it seemed to dry out my face and make my skin irritated. Maybe I should give SensiClear a try.

Hi
Great review! Made me want to try out the product and I am a complete convert now! I have suffered from cystic acne for around 10 years and all the products I had used seemed to make my skin get better for a really short time and then go back to normal or even get worse. I tried the SensiClear and within a few days I could see an improvement happening, and after 3 weeks its still getting better.
I have cleared out all my old acne products, and its a thumbs up to the SensiClear!

Its great review! Acne is a big problems for teenager. To solve, use some treatment.Acne treatment is a difficult and complex process. Acne is caused by many factors including a hormonal imbalance, extra-sensitive skin during hormonal changes (puberty ,pregnancy, etc.) or a genetic disposition to overworked sebaceous glands.but natural product are useful in that case.visit at- http://www.10acne.com/

Can I axpand on your excellent post? I want to add something about proactiv:
Proactiv Solution is an over-the-counter topical, Benzoyl Peroxide-based bactericidal for the treatment of mild to moderate forms of acne. Co-developed by two dermatologists Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields, Proactiv Solution was first marketed and distributed by the direct response marketer Guthy-Renker in 1994 through 30 minute infomercials and later through the internet and kiosks at national mall outlets to as many as 10 million reported customers. Proactiv Solution was among the first commercially marketed treatments to implement emerging clinical findings from the late 1970s and mid 80s, which demonstrated the acne-fighting benefits of Combination Therapy and potential efficacy of a milder 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide vs. the until then commonly prescribed 5% and 10% strengths of name-brand OTC spot treatments. Even as recently as the mid 90s, the concept of treating acne with a daily regimen of preventative medications was still considered new, but the Rodan and Fields combination approach of an exfoliation plus 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, and non-comedogenic moisturizer to reduce drying of the skin has since become accepted as an industry standard treatment among dermatologists and has been adopted and further accepted by other acne skin care brands.

Thanks for the review, you got me thinking and I wanted to try SensiClear, so I did! It's working! I've had acne for well over a decade, mostly around my chin. It's been a complete bugbear and finally I've found something that works for me. So many thanks again :)
