NY Fashion Week Fall '08. Badgley Mischka "Say it Broken English"

Summary: If we have said it once we have said it a thousand times, as much as Badgley Mischka have licensed pretty much everything (handbags to perfume) these days, they shine when they focus on what they do best...red carpet show stoppers. The design duo also do daywear and tried to meld the two together by using taffeta and lurex, but our hearts didn't start racing until the fur, feathers, and crystals began their decent down the runway. They lose points for naming Teri Hatcher their spokes model who seems to somehow cheapen their gowns, but we won't hold that against them really. Besides, she wasn't there. We also loved some of the handbags and the suede over-the-knee boots...which we guess are theirs too.

On a disturbing note, someone needs to tell Aisha Tyler not to chew gum in public. You would have thought she was attacking grizzle at 10am...in the front row yet. Tacky.
