Even Miami gets a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, centered around swimwear of course! This Wednesday Badgley Mischka will debut their high-end gowns swim suits launching for resort.
"Our suits have our signature — with draping, embroidery and jewels that are very us," Badgley commented to WWD. "Ever since we signed on with Iconix, swimwear has always been on the top of our list," Mischka said. "It's a natural extension of evening gowns: glamorous and sexy."
Wholesale prices will range from $75 to $125, and will most likely be available at the same high-end retailers who carry their ready-to-wear (Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue) and swim specialty stores.
Rumor has it the designing duo will next attack menswear.
