Summery: Have you ever just flat out adored a designer's line from the moment you saw your first item? It's hard to acknowledge or even notice slips because you are so enamored? Well that's me with Isabel Marant. I'm a huge fan and can honestly say, I was not disappointed. I'm a sucker for French elegance, especially when it has a bit of an edge. This isn't the label I turn to when I am seeking highly stylized designer duds, but one that personifies casual cool and understated that is ideal for spring/summer. I would wear almost any of the spring '07 items (OK, not the overalls or the rainboots). If only I could find more in Chicago.
